Time To Level-Up
Over the last 12 months quality performance has become more important for video meetings. Customers are requiring cameras and audio devices that ‘level-up’ their collaboration experience, rather than just getting by with the bare minimum.
Here at Boom Collaboration we are seeing a lot of companies replacing equipment and bringing in newer technologies including our Zoom-certified devices. The use of multiple cameras is growing too, in certain sectors, inspired by user-friendly mixing desk controllers (such as the Boom GOJO). This creates multiple angles so even on a smaller scale users are realizing they can make their meetings more of a live event.
Higher performance products that are easy to use continue to grow in demand and shape the VC market on a global scale.
What we’re seeing is some resellers and installers that aren’t necessarily AV experts, they are now much more confident venturing into more complex solutions, such as multiple cameras. Wireless screen sharing integration is another example. They are far more confident than a few years ago. This works in tandem with end users requesting more advanced solutions. Knowledge is growing all the time, especially since the pandemic which in many ways has revolutionized corporate communications.
We are all on a continuous trajectory. Meeting equity and levelling up will continue as remote meetings become a key component of daily working life. It’s not just in business that big changes are happening. Healthcare and education are now big users of VC too.
