Boom ARC is a smart AV bridge that seamlessly switches a room from an in-room system (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet room compute) to a guest BYOM laptop with one USB-C cable. No re-cabling required. A 4×2 matrix routes video to dual 4K displays, while the built-in KVM shares cameras, speakerphones, touch, and USB accessories with the active host for smooth hand-offs. Choose hands-free Auto mode or take control with Conference, Manual, Mirror, and Matrix modes, plus EDID and HDMI CEC management and RS-232 or TCP/IP control for reliable integration.

Overview
Two USB-C ports support full BYOM (video plus USB) for guest laptops. USB-C 1 provides up to 65W Power Delivery for laptop charging. USB-C 2 provides 5V 2A device power (10W) for low-power charging. Inputs 3 and 4 connect up to two in-room computers using HDMI IN for video and the matching USB-B HOST for KVM and peripheral sharing. HDMI OUT 1 and 2 connect one or two room displays. Balanced audio out supports connection to a DSP, amplifier, or room audio system. Control is available via RS-232 or TCP/IP for AV and IT automation.

System Requirements
BYOM laptop (guest): Windows, macOS, or ChromeOS with USB-C that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode (video) plus USB data (USB 3.x recommended).
For dual displays over USB-C, DisplayPort MST support is required (macOS dual-extended behavior may vary).
In-room PC / room compute: HDMI video out to ARC (HDMI IN 3 or 4), plus a USB-A port to connect to ARC’s USB-B HOST (USB-A to USB-B cable) for KVM and room peripheral sharing.
Displays: 1 to 2 HDMI displays (supports up to dual 4K).
Power and control: Includes 100W power adapter.
USB-C 1 provides up to 65W PD charging; USB-C 2 provides 5V 2A device power.
Network (TCP/IP) or RS-232 only required if you want external control or automation.
