This Boom Uno is super simple to use, you don't need any sort of tech skills to be able to use it. You just plug it in to your Mac or PC and it automatically works, the main cable is five feet long but an extension cable is included in the box and it's six feet long. There is a green LED light that shines green when the microphone is on, and red when it's muted. You can adjust the camera angle slightly to allow it to tilt upwards, for when the camera is on a table and the subject is standing. There are three capacitive touch buttons for volume up, down, and mute. This is intended to be used in a professional setting where you would have up to half a dozen people on a video call with a number of other people.
We're conducting meetings back to back in preparation for our busy holiday season and this camera/mic setup was everything I could ask for in ensuring the best in communication and quality of it while our team is still largely remote. The setup is extremely simple - just plug it in and get to the platform of your choice, and even easier to adjust for your perfect sound and visual preferences. Because of its height, you can get a good, solid shot of you/your group without an annoying camera perched on your laptop. The lights show exactly when your mic is "hot" or muted so there are no slip-ups that go viral. LOL I've seen cams cost several hundred dollars and this is an excellent value and price for the quality of both the video and audio. I definitely recommend it.
