The video conferencing industry continues to evolve and what we’re learning out on the road more and more is how simplicity is the route to success. 2026 will be the year simplicity finally overtakes complexity in video collaboration.

The landscape is changing — and it’s clear that simplicity is the new standard. We say this a lot and it’s one of the biggest messages we’re discovering when meeting partners and customers across the UK and beyond. Don’t overcomplicate, don’t over spec and don’t over sell. Less can be more!

We expect Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) momentum will continue to accelerate ahead of in-room systems. Equally service support demand is on the rise too. BYOM is no longer a niche. It’s becoming the default expectation.

People want everything to be simple. They expect their video conferencing experiences to be easy, platform agnostic and user-friendly, based on the ability to just plug in and go. I'm hearing this from not just resellers and installers, but also end users. For too many, they've realised that the equipment they have today and the way they're entering into their meetings is too often too complicated – and requires too much on-site support for every little get-together. That’s true for large multi-site enterprises as well as smaller organisations and local businesses like retail stores and insurance agencies.
